GROUP'S EVALUATION

*whistling*
oh, hi there!!!
we'll meet again this week.

Last week, we laughed, giggled and most importantly, we ate Libyan's food.
woohhuu...!!!
That was fun.
And yes, we were serving group's evaluation as the serviettes.
Pretty cool huh???
hehehe.....

So, we would like to hear your opinions regarding the presentation we did last week.

Hence, you can evaluate them by using this guidelines:

a)Was the classroom organized well to facilitate the presentation?
b)Were the presenters well prepared?
c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?
d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?
e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?
f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?
g)There is always room for improvement.Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better.

Note:Select ONE presentation, per time,so each group will evaluate TWO in total.Evaluate the presentation using the above as your guide. Please do not give just Yes/No answers.Explain your answers briefly.

-fuhh last questions..ok fine in my opinion the presenter should explain the message spontaneously and not talk&read because i believe the way we present will give the impression to the audience reception..if we talk&read, they will not listen to us and do their own job..tq!;)

Hello guys sorry for my late response, here is evaluation for Group 5!

    a) The classroom was well organised and the semicircle formation did help alot with interaction. it was also nice that the presenters had more space to use - they presented short skits and roleplays so this was especially relevant to them, and was definitely in their favour. the audience were able to have a good look at what they were doing, compared to if they were simply acting in what little space we normally have up front.

    b) the presenters were obviously well prepared as they were confident and sure of themselves. may have been several minor hesitations and interruptions in the flow of the presentation but this is minute, and overall i was very impressed with what they had to put forward!

    c) because the presenters were well prepared, without a doubt the presentation came across very clear and easy to understand. the presenters provided many clear explanations, references, examples.... and the roleplays too helped with the understanding, and definitely caught everyone's attention to keep us all listening! of course with roleplays and anything that is comical... it went out of hand a little bit with laughter and presenters cracking up, causing certain messages to become unclear and appear somewhat disoriented, but we did understand the general gist, and with the presenters' explainations later on, everything did clear up.

    d) creative, innovative and meaningful - yes to all three! they opened with an intriguing roleplay - an excerpt from a book, which i thought was very interesting and definitely generated alot of attention and question marks as to what was going to happen next. some were very funny, which helped to create a lasting impression on the audience. due to this, learning is easy and we remember.

    e) i did not feel they rushed thru the presentation. it was well paced.

    f) i would be beating around the bush and repeating myself here haha.... based on all my above points, it is evident that we have learnt alot from this group.

    g) i really dont think there is much this group needs to improve on, but if i were to do a little nitpicking, they were big on just presenting, with minimal class interaction/participation. perhaps that would've made a more interactive and "hand on" session, but really - i thought they were great as they were, so good job!!

  5. In my opinion, the last group's presentation was awesome.
They wrapped everything in once. They showed how culture has evolved.
From the Greek colonization to costumes, belly dancing (I think guys are disappointed because they couldn't watch the belly dance) and lastly the food.
At first, I don’t have much ideas what Libyan’s culture all about and now, information is gathered.
The presentation might take quite a longer time from other groups, but it is not an arduous.
As long as the students get to know, what the elements in a culture are and why evolution occurred, a lot of knowledge can be gain from the presentation.

Group 2 originally group 11 delivered their information well, it just lacked of interaction with the students, make it’s quite dull. But, they gave reinforcements and it’s quite a great thing.

Group 3 showed quite hilariously funny video. A lady who can speak different accents by making babbling sounds to indicate she is competent enough, a great one.

Group 6 showed the differences of blue colour spectrum. We got to know the differences now and definitely we can use the differences in our routine. As an example, ‘Hey, I would like to buy that Azure Mist colour shirt’. Or, ‘Let’s paint our classroom with periwinkle colour’.

Respectively, every group were doing well.

  7. a)Was the classroom organized well to facilitate the presentation?
It was great except for the AC,was not chill.

    b)Were the presenters well prepared?
They were all prepared but many groups were still not sure about the way to convey the message attractively.

1st Group: you had a lot of info but u just didn't know how to throw it out well. You have the capability, u just need to do more homework on it, and I’m sure you can attract attention.

Group 3: You have caught my attention, yet your information was lacking. I appreciated your funny video, and this made me remember whatever message you conveyed.

Last Group: First of all,it was a great ending for the day.Thank you for the food and the awesome dance. Yet,my question is still hanging.I kinda know about your culture but it was not clear in few aspects. Why is the belly dance costume and the seductive steps an exception? Your daily dressing is covered but why belly dance is an exception. I understood that Libyan’s does not dress sexy for belly dance, but I thought belly dance is an Arabic thing. Why it differs in certain country? Why is it not standardized? Is it a cultural dance? What is the advantage of it? See, culture that we preach has its advantages. Like Baratham is part of yoga. And im sure all of us are aware of advantages in Yoga. So what are the advantages of Belly dance??? Other than that, you guys did a good job, even made Mdm dance. She made your presentation even more worthwhile ☺

c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?
    B answered this question.

d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?
Yes it was and as I said, it can be improvised.

    e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?
Im not sure, perhaps it was suppose to be in such way.

f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?
Yes I have learnt a lot. And I wish it could be more.

g)There is always room for improvement. Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better.
In my opinion, in a language class the teacher should talk less, the students should be proactive. English is not a studying subject, whereas it should be adopted as our daily thing. There is nothing to read, just practice. Same goes to the presenter, if you want to attract the their attention, you should make them talk. When we talk ,we remember. On the whole, all the group did well, and I thank you for your information.

  9. (A)Was the classroom organized well to facilitate the presentation?
Last week it was organized well perhaps there was enough space for the presenters to present their stuff. But today the class was small and messed up with tables. I came to the class after finished my first class and unfortunately I could not give any contribution in arranging tables n chairs.

    b)Were the presenters well prepared?
Yes they were but since I came late to the class I would not able to see the previous presentation as well. As I knew most of them presented well and our group faced few difficulties in plugging and all stuff and I forgot my part. Our group was quite disappointed with that. Hope you guys have enjoyed the clip. Today’s presentations were so good and I have enjoyed maximum by producing animal sounds.

c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?
Yes I understood. They prepared well and brought the information which made us understood.

d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?
Yes, it was creative, innovative, fun and meaningful; especially Fadwa and Arvint group have made it. Last week the third group have presented with delicious foods, Libyan’s wedding costumes and the most important thing is the dance part. I was wondering how could she shake her hip and my friend was eager to try it. Meanwhile today Arvint group presented their task well and we were enjoyed by producing animal sounds and my group represented chicken sound “kokokokoookkk”. My group leader letchu produced the sound in high pitch and our group won Toyota Alphard for answered the more question. We enjoyed the song either. hahax

    e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?
I’m not sure about it; it seems they have enough time to conduct their activities without dragging so many things.

f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?
Yes I have learned something new from the presentation whereby the last groups presented about Libyan’s culture as well as other group either.

g)There is always room for improvement. Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better.

I assure that the aspect of presentation that can change it better is they have to master the topic so that they can explain well when the audience asking question , acknowledge about the particular topic and assembling them in power point slides ( this is my view as though I knew madam Sarada hate this, hehe). Some of the students may face their anxiety while presenting their task even they have across it few times before and I can feel the butterflies in your stomach. The presenters have to catch the attention of the audience by a creative and good presentation. One of the very important aspects is to have prescience of mind if something goes wrong when the projector making problem and could not access it at any time. There can be a power failure or your power point slides may not open when you want it. You might have saved the slides in an advanced version and the computer available at the venue may not support the advanced version. They should expect the worst mentally and be prepared with alternatives way as madam said plan A, B, C….

  13. hello everyone :)
i would love to do my peer evaluation on last week's and today's presentation.
a)Was the classroom organized well to facilitate the presentation?
definitely i would go for last week's classroom. the venue was bigger so a lot of spaces can be use and the presenters were in such condition that they did not happen to give their back to anyone unlike what happen today.

    b)Were the presenters well prepared?
yes. knowing that we are in Ms. Sarada's class, everyone had done their research first of all before presenting their topic to the class. hehehe

c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?
for last week, i would choose Amir's group. they presented on the relationship between language and culture. there were not much prop used( i think they didn't use any) but the whole class got the message.
for this week, the group that did activity on "who wants to be a millionaire" , sugha's group if i'm not mistaken has conveyed the message in such a manner that the whole class will definitely be able to answer if the questions about the inner, outer and expanding circle come out in the finals. thanks guys :)

d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?
yes. its hard for me to choose a group in this because almost all the group has made a lot of effort in squeezing their brain juices to come out with various activities. so yes i would say all the presentations were creative, innovative, fun and meaningful to the whole class.

    e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?
the activities, nope. they gave us enough time to discuss and carry out the task that they have given.

f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?
i learnt fadwa can do a really good belly dance. hahaha. i feel pity for the boys that they missed once i a lifetime chance to see how hot Ms. Sarada can be. hehehe :D
i learnt how to make libyan food, i learnt a lot of taboos, euphemism, i learnt that we have more than 7000 languages in the world( i have always thought we have around 500 languages in the world) and i learn world's no.1 song as been chosen by CNN. 'why this kolaveri'. thanks to all for making this happen. :)

g)There is always room for improvement.Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better.
i would only suggest that we should have better and more conducive venue for the presentation. that's all.

i think all of them did prepared well but some of them were nervous when they were in front to present

c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?

yes i did because me and my group well participated in the presentations.

d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?

yes...it according to the group members...they have their own way to convey their message and presentation...

    e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?

yes i did....i understood every topic more clearly...

g)There is always room for improvement.Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better.

one of the aspect is the participating and cooperation from other students....when someone is presenting we have to listen to them...then only we could understand what they are trying to say or do...i saw some students were just sitting there without any participation...its very sad...we should help our classmates to get their marks and make their presentation more interesting....

    e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?

not all rushed...some did managed in a organised way...

f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?

yes of course...i learned a lot in every presentation...

g)There is always room for improvement.Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better.

the presenter themselves...they should have their own role in the presentation...they cant just stand they depending on their other group members who are presenting...they should have their own input in the presentation...

  18. Sorry for the delay in the blog updates,I would like to evaluate the presentations from group 1- 12. Based on the question that was stated the answers are following;

a)Was the classroom organized well to facilitate the presentation?
I kinda Prefer the previous classroom on 3rd of may compared to the one on 9th of may because of the space in classroom was congested. But overall we could fit in and make ourself comfortable :)

    b)Were the presenters well prepared?

To be honest, every group did their best. Based on my group, I knew we didn't bring out the best in us. We were the first to present and it's not easy to stand in front of a huge number of people as we were nervous of making mistakes and may not be perfect. But I'm glad we did the best we could and learn from the mistakes that miss sarada has pointed out. I hope that we would do the best in our next coming presentation.

c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?

Most presentation was clearly explained through the activities that was carried out.

d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?

I would like to say I liked Fatin Amirah's Group activity and Arvinth's Group activity. It was knowledgeable and Fun :)

    e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?

Nope, Most groups made their activities fun and took their time in explaining us the activities that was carried out.

f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?

Some had new information, like Jenny's group for introducing the dead languages around all region of the world that I never knew of its existence.

g)There is always room for improvement.Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better.

Based on the improvement of the presentation to make it better, I would like to say about the ways of presenting. Some presentation is verbally presented and some were visually presented. As a viewer , I would really like visual presentation cause it would be more lively and more interesting. I hope my comments weren't inappropriate said. thank you

    2. Yes,Yakshinee...my teaching learning style has always been...hands on...I've a very simple philosophy...whatever one learns, make it fun, then the learning experience becomes a memorable one.
Most of the students in this class have been with me before, and their presentations have always been fun filled. They've always shown what is meant by 'thinking out of the box'...
The presentations you saw was an excellent way of revising all the topics you guys went through, through the semester. The way you presented showed an indepth understanding of the topics...
Of course there were some who chose to do the usual'talk,talk,talk'...here again it's your style.
To come up with a really interesting presentation requires hard work and coordination, time management and not forgetting research. This is why I gave you some time in class to discuss your presentation plans with me,in addition to opening a post for discussion in the blog...well,some made use of it,while some did not...
By the way, some of you are just posting a general feedback on the presentations...you forget you've to select 2 and comment on them using the guidelines given...

      Sorry for the late reply...

      1) Yes. I think the class was well organized. Eventhough, the space not very comfortable for the students, but the interaction among the students was still good. The poison box activity which was done by a group made us easier to passed the thing because we were sit in a closer distance.

2)The presenters were absolutely well prepared. They tried their level best to make their presentation best. We were enjoyed maximum.

3)Yes. Because the presenters not only done their activity well, at the same time they also gave best example to make the viewers to understand easier.

4)Yes, there’s no any doubt. The presentation was creative, fun, meaningful and innovative too. The presenters were well planned before presentation. They were brought learning materials which able to make the presentation more effective n fun. We obviously had maximum fun in the classroom.

5)I think they were not rush through the activities. Because they were learnt to prepare their selves to give their best, since they heard compliments given by Mdm. Sarada in the last class.

6)Yes. I have learnt a lot, especially about the braj kachru.

7)I think the presenters should avoid using too much of slides during presentation.

  25. hEy guys watzz up… really sory 4 d late reply.. kinda busy..

a)Was the classroom organized well to facilitate the presentation?
Ok, for me I would say that the class for the first presentation is much better rather than the class for second presentation. It is because the class on 2nd may was bigger and comfortable compare to the class on this week. Apart from that, the arrangement of tables and chairs looks good but this week class looks messy and not enough place for the students to sit. Not only that, the environment for this week class is like congested. However, the presenters manage to overcome these obstacles and perform well.

    b)Were the presenters well prepared?
Yes I do agree that most of the presenters are really well prepared. The way they present already shows whether they are prepared or not. But still some of the presenters become nervous when students tend to take part actively in their presentations. Just remember, this kind of presentation will help the presenters to be more professional. It is because they will start to handle the class, answer all the question asked by the students and so on. Therefore, do not be nervous when the students make noise or interrupt the presentation. Otherwise, all the presenters perform very well and provide such a good knowledge for all of us. Thank you guys for that.

c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?
For this question, I would like to thank ms sarada because the way she taught us and handle the class really makes us to give such a good presentations. Usually, she will encourage us to think something different and deliver the messages in unique way. As a result, all of us can see and conclude that each group did and awesome presentation. To be honest, I understand clearly all the presentations. Hey guys, give a round of applause to yourself including me (hehehehhe) because I think most of us understand what actually we supposed to do on the presentation. And all of u did perform very well.

  26. d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?
Yeah, now I would like to choose the best 2 group among all the presentation that we gone through past two weeks. In my opinion, the best 2 group would be “FADWA AND THE GROUP” and also “AMIR AND THE GROUP”. Ok, I’m going to start with fadwa group whereby their group is really get attention from all the students. It is because their group mainly emphasize in Libyan culture. Since we as Malaysian are lack of knowledge
In their culture tend to give concentration and take part actively in their presentation. Not only that, Fadwa I think you did the best for your group, the way u spoke and manage the classroom environment was really superb. Yeah, not forgotten about the part of food. For me it’s something new to learn about Libyan food and taste it. I feel like their presentation is really authentic by bringing their food, their traditional costumes, jewels and so on. Hahahahaha, last but not least the belly dance sure attracted all the students. Its really very exciting activity done by this group but unfortunately guys is not allowed to watch the dance. I cannot really stand out of the class when fadwa was dancing in the class. But what to do, I have to control myself since their culture doesn’t allows guys to watch the dance unless they are relative or so on. Fadwa and the group, you guys really did a good job. I don’t know whether I will get this opportunity or not in future to learn about your culture. However, through this presentation I gain a lot of new information’s.
And we move on to second group, which is Amir Group, hey guys really hats off to all of you. It is because I see you guys like relax only when presenting your ideas yet it is a meaningful presentation. Not only that, I feel like your group have done a lot of researches to attract the students by doing a role play, usage of new foreign words and so on. Yeah, it is really something interesting for me. Apart from that, your group didn’t use much teaching materials during your presentation. But it still attracts the student’s attention and makes them involve actively in your group presentation.

e)Did the presenters rush through the activities?
Ermm, I don’t think so that the presenters rush during the activities because I feel like all of them have divided very well the time for the each activity. Therefore, I think everything moves on smoothly without any obstacles. However, I would like to say that I did this mistake whereby I was like rushing during my first activity. I was giving instruction to all the students to get into their group for the “who wants to be millionaire activity”. I still remember the word used by me. I ordered them “ GUYS FASTER FASTER GET INTO YOUR GROUP”. For this, I would like to thank ms sarada because she remind me “ Arvint, do not rush give them time to settle in their group”. Thanks mam.

  27. f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?
I learn a lot of new information and knowledge through the presentation that we have gone through. It is because each group presents in different way to portray their messages to us. Therefore, its like something new for us. We should appreciate that and take in consideration about the knowledge’s that delivered by them. I believe for sure others also think the way I think now. I would say that through this presentations and blog participations we roughly answer the questions in final exam.

g)There is always room for improvement. Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better.
Okay, if you ask me none of us are perfect and good all the time. Therefore, for sure there will be some good stuff and bad from us. For my group, I would say that maybe we can improve on the activities to be more authentic. It is because the activity that conducted by our group (who wants to be millionaire) really enjoyed by others but when come to the part of taking part not all get the opportunity. Therefore, I would suggest that an activity that being conducted should take part by all of the class members.

I think that’s all from our group…. Tenkiu..
    Arvint
    Rushenthen
    Sughanya
    Revatde

    e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?

Some of the presenters rush through activities

  30. a) Compare to the second week classroom, the first week’s classroom was well organized. It was spacious and comfortable enough for those presenters and audience. It was arranged in semicircle which made easy to interact.

    b) Presenters in the first week was a bit reserved and also found less interactive with the audience but this week all of them were very good. Hats off to all of you guys..!! Well they had prepared various types of exciting games for all. Everybody even sang Tamil song together and that was really fun.

    c) To say it frankly, I really understood for whatever presented by each group.. it was easy to understand and clearly captured in my heart. All the grp had tried their level best to reach their info to the audience and they did well in their way.

    d) Yes almost all the presentation was creative as well as fun too... Such as Rushen’s group.. They came out with activity of Who Wants to be a Millionaire… Rushen’s seriousness by hosting the game show and by indicating the grand prize made me to feel that m seriously participating the actual Who Wants to be a Millionaire game show but the code sound for all the groups turns it out to be a very funny game show… hehe.. Felt like m in a fun zOO.. omg moreover my group’s sound was lion where we had to roar bt turn to be real small cub(so soft voice).. hah anyways we manage to scored 1 point… proud of it man..!!

    e) Well regarding rush… hhmm I dun think so they did really rush throughout the activity but as usual there are time limit so they had to complete or limit their activities by just giving chance to few of the audience to participate the activities.. yt it was still fun too… ;)

    f) Learn?? A lot... Yes a lot... Everything was much simpler to understand when it was presented... Now this is where I have to chose two best groups based in my opinion.. on the 1st week of presentation, other than my own group, I liked Yakshine’s group .. I liked the way she presented. Very confident on what she’s gonna talked abt as a result she was being very casual and those info was well explained... On the other hand, second week’s best presenter was Arvind and the gang... chosen by me… hahakz... well as I answered in the previous quest (d).. they had really done a good job… alots of excitement, better interaction among the students. Alots of sound and amusement. And at the same time so much of information gained equally….

    g) In my opinion, I believe that presenters shouldn’t have any reading materials with them cz that will make them to refer to it and start reading… that is so boring for the audience… delivering info spontaneously are more encourageable. Tq…

  31. Hye everybody.. Yakshini, I would like to ans ur questions regarding Belly dance… first of all, belly dance is actually based on one of the oldest social dances in world history, originating in North Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. It is a beautiful form of dance and at the same time it’s a great way to exercise. It'll help the dancers stay in shape and allow them to express their personal creativity. As years goes,Belly dancing is enjoyed by many people all over the world. Perhaps the most distinguishing feature of belly dancing is the isolated movements performed by the abdomen such as circular, rolling, angular or vibrating etc… okay concerning abt the seductive steps and revealing kinda costume… The dance is usually performed wearing long skirts or harem pants (Alibaba pants). Some belly dancers prefer to simply wear a leotard or a stretchy, form-fitting top. While belly dancing, it is often desirable to keep the midriff uncovered, allowing the defining movements of the abdominals to be visible. That’s the specialty of the dance… its all abt the belly button... Such as bharatham, its specialty is on the hand, feet and eyes movement right… so same goes to belly dance.. The most important function of the dance is that has been performed for other women, generally during fertility means or parties preparing a young woman for marriage. As s result, the presence of men is not permitted. It is a traditional birthing practice kinda dance movement to help ease the pains of childbirth… hope I did ans ur questions… hehehe… I got those information frm online and also frm my Pakistan friend … ;)

  36. Hello everyone ^^
Here is my opinions regarding the presentation we did.

a)Was the classroom organized well to facilitate the presentation?
I will said yes. The classroom was well organized in the first week of presentations and did help a lot but too bad in the second week of presentations the classroom was too small and quite messed up especially when everyone that came late just sit next to the door.

    b)Were the presenters well prepared?
Most of the group were well prepared including my group but so sad because we did not do well maybe because all of us quite nervous .We didn’t expect that we will be the first group to present. Hope this week we will do well and thanks a lot to Miss Sarada cause give us another change to improve…^.^

c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?
Yes. I understand much better and get a clear picture on all the topic that we learn in Cultural Diversity when go through all the presentations especially when Amir’s group present. They are so creative to deliver what they understand through “role play”. Congrat’s to Amir’s group, good job!

d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?
Yes.I can said that all the presentation was GREAT. Everyone have their own way to deliver the message based on topic that they get.

    e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?
No.I don’t think so. It seems that everyone get enough time for their group.

f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?
Yes,I do learn a lot of things from this presentations. It do help me understand better each topic that we learn. I also learn new things about Arabic cultures from Fadwa’s group. It’s so fun to dance once in a while and I do impressed to see Miss Sarada who are so “supportive” to dance together. Haha..mam..you’re the first lecture I hve seen in UNIRAZAK who are so sporting mam….this is my first time be with u and i do enjoy a lot in your class. ^.^

g)There is always room for improvement.Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better. I think there should be more interaction between the presenter and the whole audience. Additional part is, I’m so sad because last week we trying too hard to make an Elephant sounds but only Chicken sound are heard by the presenter.(too hard to create an Elephant sounds compared to chicken’s sounds)My suggestion maybe next time u should change it to a dog sounds??It’s more easy I think…hehe..

  37. hi madam and good morning to all!

a)Was the classroom organized well to facilitate the presentation?
yes.. classroom are very organized by all members.the projector and laptop(those who bring that) all function.even the space is quite small but its still okay.

c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?
actually, not all i understand about that presentation.but, madam sarada plays her role very well.when she know some student getting a quite blur, she will explain and she know exactly which part have to explain by the expert like her.

d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?
honestly, all group trying so much to have presentation like that.all group can deliver their message and everyone get it with some help from madam.

i dont think so..i know madam sarada give some time to all group to do their presentation.but, all group still take additional time given by madam. affectingly, class are going a quite late to be and.hehe

f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?
of course! all the group come forward with a really good knowledge and new idea. for the example, rushen's group.the song that they play in class is international song for really? i seriously have no idea about that. i thought that song is a tamil song already. that kind of method is really good to test accent and slang about all culture in malaysia for the example.

g)There is always room for improvement.Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better.
i think we should prove the CPU in class with all software are included.so all the student dont waste time too much to change the laptop.its so so so wasting the time! and make sure the class that we present already provide a couple of speaker.that's all..

a)Was the classroom organized well to facilitate the presentation?
this week classroom organisation becomes the inhibiton as it is quite messy. Students at the back do not have more space to stand up and go in front and take part in the activity. It can be said that the classroom is quite small.

Definitely!.All of them managed to catch our attention by asking questions to stimulate our thinking skills. They have managed to deliver the content very well.

c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?

d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?
Yes, it is very creative!i like the activity when some of us were given a piece of paper and have to guess wether it is Dead language or extinct language...it is really informative!I could still remember the examples
    Dead language (Sanskrit, Latin)
    Extinct language (Tasmanian, Akkalasami, akkadian)
see how the activity have made the information to retain in our mind!..:-)

    e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?
Not really, they started very well by asking some questions related to their topic and give rewards to those who answer their question. I got lolipop from kimberley!..:-)

f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?
yes, they really help us in identifying some of the dead language and extinct languages. Before this we only knew 2 examples of extinct language. After they have presented, we got to know more examples...thanx to diz group!

  42. hey all, sorry for the really late entry (taj)

a)Was the classroom organized well to facilitate the presentation?

yes and no, yes for the first week presenters unfortunately i don't think for the second and last week presenations, but i think regardless of the space they did their the best with the venue provided.

    b)Were the presenters well prepared?

yeap, generally all the presenter looked well prepared, with their information and facts , along with their props and concepts which made things more lively and interesting.

c)Did you understand ‘clearly’ the presentation?

yes, and i feel its down to how well the groups were prepared, the role plays especially were very helpful because it made things more relate-able

d)Was the presentation very creative, innovative, fun and meaningful?

very much so, creatively and innovative-ly credit especially goes the who wants to be a millionaire group and their charismatic host, the concept was totally out of the box i felt and it got every body's attention.

    e) Did the presenters rush through the activities?

no i dont think so, i think everybody used their time wisely . groups were given a limited amount of time and i think generally all of the groups manage their time well without rushing.

f)Did you learn anything new from the presentation?

i would like to think so, especially the Libyan group. because its such a foreign culture to what we have in this part of the world and for the group to share such historical and traditional information it was very refreshing for me.

g)There is always room for improvement.Explain one aspect of the presentation you may change to make the presentation better.

no doubt practice makes perfect. however, i don't think there are many things to improve. maybe some of the groups were jittery at the beginning of the presentation but everything was conducted very well at the end of the day i feel every group finished strongly. i just feel if there was one improvement which could be highlighted it would be the venue for the second and third week presentations
