In Sarawak, 'Orang Ulu' (Upstream Community) especially ladies would like to make their ear lobes longer to beautify themselves. Its a tradition for them but nowadays young generation refuse to do so. of course, modernization take place now, and they feel awkward and shame to have such a long ear lobes. But, the old ladies still do have such a long ear lobes. Its a significant for them to have a long ear lobes up to their shoulder. A great satisfaction for them if they can have such a long ear lobes. They do not need the woman's best friend (diamonds) because to have such long ear lobes is a vibe of attraction for them. The old generation refuse to cut their ear lobes even though the globalization occurs now.
wow something new i learned today... i was wondering there are some cultures like this that being practiced by certain ethnic.. errmm, something new and interesting. than you ammin for the upload
