UPDATE (QUIZ)

Hello and good day....

I'm pretty sure every one is doing their research now and looking for information regarding the topic given.
And yes, here is some update from Miss Sarada, are you ready for the great activity?
hehehe...


Some areas to focus on for your quiz:
1.What's language/culture?
2.What's the relationship between language and culture?
3.Explain the Whorfian or Sapir-Whorf hypothesis...support your explanation with your own examples.
4.Is culture/language important?Explain.
5.What's 'cultural suicide?'
6.Can languages die?Explain.



p/s: Bring your materials and make sure you read em up.
      Have a lovely weekends with books, journals and articles while you sit back and sip your white coffee.

    Hehehe....no grumbling during tomorrow's Quiz.....
    Also read up on what different cultures do...eg.in some cultures women have long necks...why?
    Are there any peculiar rituals in your culture?Explain.

      Jen Jen....based on my research culture suicide is when ppl totally neglect their own culture and imitate another culture

    So,was the quiz an 'interesting experience?'....most of you appeared relaxed....
    Amin and Amir will be uploading further information on culture,language,etc...please read,if you have a question,post it in the blog...and let"s discuss language extinction,death of a language,cultural suicide,etc..
